Take it from last year’s performers at the Beaver Island Music Festival who called it a “magical weekend” and “a gig that feels like a vacation.”

There’s nothing quite like the intimate and secluded Beaver Island Music Festival, taking place beginning Thursday, July 14 on Beaver Island, located in northern Lake Michigan, 32 miles by ferry from Charlevoix.

The three-day festival and lineup, curated by Carol Burton, combines compelling nationally touring artists with a host of regional stars to create an eclectic, camaraderie-filled atmosphere that arts sponsors in rural communities say “promotes variety and tradition of all music and art. Our main goal is to bring attention to the beautiful world we live in, especially Beaver Island, by uniting these talents and people.
