EXO’s DO releases solo album ‘Empathy’


The voice of DO handles a range of tasks on Empathy, entering as deeply relaxing as they intertwine with soft guitar strummings over the hypnotic “It’s Love”, while “I’m Fine” lets it soar effortlessly between its magnificent falsetto and moving bass notes.

Building on the success of EXO’s latest album, Don’t fight the feeling, which went on to become one of the biggest K-pop releases of 2021 with over 1.2 million copies sold and a music video garnering 80 million views on YouTube since its release in early June, DO has finally released its album solo, which allows him to flourish as a star singer, but also showcases his writing and language skills.

Notably, DO is credited with writing “Rose” and “I’m Fine” on the album while also offering a Spanish version of “It’s Love” as well as an English version of “Rose”.
