All-State Defensive Midfielder Last Season
All-County First Team Selection
Coach Tim Ball said: “Will Gary has come from a long line of excellent defensive midfielders who have been produced here at the GAC, but he is the first to be unanimously elected as a member of the first team for the same position. Will is excellent in all phases of the game and will certainly contribute offensively this season as well. He is also a true dual-sport athlete who plays football and follows many Spartan lacrosse players who have excelled in both sports.

2021 Gwinnett County Defense Player of the Year
Coach Kevin Peek’s perspective: “Davis has been a big part of our defensive success over the past three years. He’s been drafted by many colleges as a No. 1 cover and can stop top scorers in and out of state. He also helped us win big games by disrupting opposition attacks with and without the ball without recording stats. He was a starter for three years at tight end for the three-time state champion football team and brings that toughness and physicality to the lacrosse field. While I will definitely miss seeing him play in college, I have a lot of respect for his decision to continue his education and medical training via an Army ROTC fellowship at Auburn.

Coach Kevin Peek’s opinion: “Zack is the best two-way midfielder. He can score, but he’s also a great asset to have as a defensive short stick. He can defend anywhere on the pitch without needing help. He is also a great option for clearing the ball. Zack was a player on the three-time state champion soccer team and plays both sports with a high motor on the field and can deliver and manage the physique. He will be an asset at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Coach Paul Hennelly’s perspective: “Caylor is the leader of our defense, calling assignments, slides and leading teammates. She’s still around the ball but plays smart physical defense so she doesn’t pick up a lot of fouls. She was the team leader with 19 turnovers to go along with 23 ground balls, six goals and one assist last season. She’s an enthusiastic and supportive teammate who loves the game. She drives straight from high school practices to Rabbit Hill Park every night to coach our youth team.

Coach Anna Myrick says: “Anna Rae is the most talented and versatile player I have ever coached, but what I love most about Anna Rae is that her love for her is much bigger than her love for the game. Anna Rae makes the sport of lacrosse exciting and fun for everyone around her and she continually works to not only improve her own skills, but builds confidence and enthusiasm in each of his peers. No drill or time to pick up a stick is below her and she is always ready to help teach, coach and mentor others no matter where they are in their game development. She is a beloved by many and I hope one day to see her coach and share the joy she has for the game of lacrosse with the next generation of student-athletes.

Jordyn is also a member of Puerto Rico’s national women’s squad for the World Games. She is on track to graduate as the all-time leading scorer in program history. The all county first team selection had 72 goals, 32 assists and 63 ground balls last season
Has career totals of 146 goals, 82 assists and 186 rushes
Coach David Erwin’s opinion: “Claudia is the best player I have ever seen. She dedicated herself to the sport of women’s lacrosse and her teammates. Very rarely does she step out of the field and usually only when told to. She will play an entire game in midfield if you let her. Aggressive in attack and tenacious in defense, there is no better player in Gwinnett in my opinion. She is leading or approaching career goals in the county at the moment and will only solidify that this year. She will leave a big hole in our team for years to come.

She maintained her GPA while playing lacrosse, working as a tutor, and publishing two children’s books as a co-author. He is a phenomenal person in every way. »
