Kanye West Reveals His Favorite Song From Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ Album – Billboard


Kanye West shares his thoughts on Beyonce’s latest album, Renaissance.

The rapper and fashion mogul, who now goes by the name Ye, took to social media on Sunday (September 4) to reveal his favorite track from Queen Bey’s seventh studio album, released in late July.

“Favorite song from Beyoncé’s album,” Ye wrote on Instagram alongside a screenshot from the streaming service of the Renaissance song from the album “Church Girl”. The twerk-ready cut peaked at No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 in mid-August.

Ye’s post coincidentally arrives on the same day Beyonce celebrated her 41st birthday. The rapper previously collaborated with Bey on the track “Lift Off,” from his 2011 album, Look at the thronewith Jay Z.

Beyonce’s infused studio effort hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and also simultaneously helped push single “Break My Soul” to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, giving the icon her first single. #1 solo in 14 years.

You didn’t stop there. He also paid tribute to DJ Khaled’s latest musical project, God madespecifically acknowledging the title track featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, John Legend and Fridayy.

“Song of the Year next to Wait For You,” Ye captioned another screenshot of the song.

Ye went on to call Wizkid’s hit song “Essense”, featuring Justin Bieber and Tems, the “best song in music history to date”. The track peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100 in July 2021.

In another post, Ye also hinted at the possibility of filming a music video for The Game’s new song “Fortunate,” which features West alongside Dreezy and Chiller. The track appears on The Game’s latest album, DRILLMATIC Heart versus mind.
