NIGO reunites with Teriyaki Boyz for new track “Morë Tonight”

After last working together over a decade ago on their album Serious Japanese, NIGO reunited with the Teriyaki Boyz to deliver their Pharrell-produced song, “Morë Tonight”.

NIGO shared a snippet of the song and the cover on his Instagram. Kenzo’s artistic director also revealed that “Morë Tonight” will feature on his upcoming album, I know NIGOdue out at the end of March.

The Teriyaki Boyz haven’t lost a step in their new single. Consisting of members Ilmari, Ryo-Z, Verbal, Wise and NIGO, who is the group’s DJ, the electric chemistry the group fostered in the late 2000s is still fresh here. Pharrell’s production also adds another layer of complexity to the track. “Morë Tonight” seems to be another testament to how NIGO is bringing all of his worlds together for his highly anticipated upcoming album.

Ahead of this single, NIGO shared his track with Pusha-T, “Hear Me Clearly,” which will also be featured on I know NIGO. A snippet of the song was teased during its debut at Kenzo Paris Fashion Week which took place earlier this year. Now four singles deep into the album, other songs that have been released include “Arya” and “Want It Bad” featuring Kid Cudi, assisted by ASAP Rocky. Both tracks also received visual treatments.

Listen to NIGO’s latest single featuring the Teriyaki Boyz “Morë Tonight” up top, and stay tuned for the release of I know NIGO March 25.
