The lineup is loaded with stars, but what songs will they perform? – Athleticism

Let’s say it now, so we can go beyond that and focus on productivity. The last Super Bowl halftime shows have been mediocre at best. The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Maroon 5 represent a truck load of meh. The last noteworthy performance was Lady Gaga’s at Super Bowl LI, and it’s been even longer since Beyonce’s magnetic show at Super Bowl XLVII. Needless to say, a jolt of electricity was needed to freshen things up this year, and fans got it with this lineup.

Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Snoop, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar represent three generations of hits. Each of them is a Hall of Famer. Every artist comes with a plethora of songs to rip, but when you have so many options, how do you decide? More importantly, what songs make sense to the millions who will watch the Super Bowl?

For house bettors, this is no small feat to figure out. Below, you’ll find our best bet on which songs will make the cut, along with our figurative odds for each.

Dr.Dre

Best bets: “Nuthin But AG Thing” (3 to 1 odds)/”Forgot About DRE” (5-1)/”California Love” (7-1) Longshots: “The Next Episode” (15-1) /”Xplosive” (20-1)

Jason Jones: “Nuthin But a G Thang” has got to be the absolute favorite in this group. It’s a West Coast classic with an eye-catching hook. This allows Dre and Snoop to incorporate lowriders into the show and is a perfect way to start or end the show. “Forgot About Dre” is the best shot at a Dre-Eminem collaboration. Along with “Still DRE” and “The Next Episode”, it is one of the songs most likely to be performed from “Chronic 2001”. No question of hearing “Xxplosive.
